We tried the Bibimbap, chicken gyoza, kimbap, and the 1 AED laksa — every single dish was bursting with authentic taste and cooked to perfection. It’s clear they prioritize quality and freshness. I truly hope they expand to more locations and open a larger restaurant to accommodate more diners, because this place deserves it. 10/10 — highly recommend to anyone craving delicious Asian cuisine at a great value!”

    Only neutral feedback

“Vegan katsu has potential. Thick gel like batter, but crumb is perfect. Katsu sauce is outstanding. The tofu itself needs to be marinated in pickle juice and soy sauce for that flavour as it has no flavour. The batter is too thick, but crumb is good.”

Food 2

  1. Bulalo Net −1
“I ordered online for pick-up, one Bulalo - beef soup (large) and Chicken sisig. When my dad came back we immediately went on for our dinner and the first thing we noticed is there’s no enough soup broth - (he actually asked the staff politely if the soup broth is full enough) that’s the reason we ordered ‘Bulalo’ in the first place and take note we ordered it in large size with an additional cost. My mom who’s not even a tiniest bit of being nit-picky and being critical had a hard time chewing the beef since it’s very dry and has a texture of a rubber.”
  2. Kimchi soup Net −1
“Amazing dishes. Only I would not order soups. Ordered twice, Tom Yum and another time, Kimchi soup. Not what I expected Please try to improve authentic soups. The rest is amazing, thank you!”

The Bottom Line

77 Asia is a compact casual restaurant in Al Barsha South serving a wide sweep of Asian comfort food. The strongest starting points are the laksa and Pad Thai: reviewers describe the laksa as rich, creamy and perfectly spiced, while one Thai diner called the Pad Kra Prao highly authentic. Bibimbap, Korean fried chicken, Vietnamese rolls and Filipino noodles also give the menu plenty of range.

The restaurant is genuinely small, so dine-in feels more like a quick, cosy meal than a spacious restaurant outing. It has indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor tables especially appreciated in winter. One Sunday visitor found the place packed around 5:30pm, so arriving early is sensible if you want a table.

Delivery is a strong alternative. Customers mention fresh food, hot arrivals and thoughtful packaging that helps spring rolls stay crisp. Parking around the restaurant can be difficult, making takeaway or delivery easier for some visits.

In person, bring cash: one review says the venue only accepts cash. The food feedback is mostly enthusiastic, but soups are less consistent than the noodles and rice dishes; Tom Yum and Kimchi soup disappointed one reviewer. Check whether promotions are still running before you order, as the AED 1 laksa offer was specifically tied to a past campaign.
