    Only neutral feedback

“I ordered siyadie it's rice and fish. Sadly the food needed more spicys or any kind of taste. I like that they send olives, pickles, thine and souce but some kind of lemon and garlic souce or seasoned sallad would be nice instead of the pickles, olives and tahine. The portion isn't big for a women it's enough but if it was for my husbend it wouldn't get him full becouse it's only halv a container. I would say it's average nothing speciell but not disappointing like you can't eat it.”

The Bottom Line

Abatjour is a Mudon restaurant and cafe that leans strongly toward relaxed social visits. You can come for shisha on the outdoor terrace, order Arabic food, or keep things simple with coffee; one reviewer specifically called the Turkish coffee excellent. The quiet, cozy room is also described as suitable for working or unwinding rather than loud dining.

Food is the variable here. The Falafel Salad was praised for its freshness, plentiful falafel and tahini, while another reviewer liked the chicken burger’s bread and a regular customer enjoyed the shish tawook sandwich. Reviews also mention good kunafa and a broad-looking menu.

At the same time, others found dishes mediocre, cold or stale, and one reported raw chicken in burgers, so expectations should be measured. Service is often described as welcoming, but kitchen delays come up repeatedly: fries reportedly took 45 minutes and mains more than an hour in one visit. Smoke can also linger because the ventilation has been criticised.

Check drink prices before ordering; small sparkling water was reported at 40 dirhams, while Turkish coffee was listed at 18 AED. The outdoor area, football viewing and reported free parking add practical appeal for a longer casual stop.
