Compare prices. Check the same product elsewhere before paying; one reviewer found a 100 AED outside price against 400 AED at ACE.
Verify paint. Check mixed paint carefully before leaving and clarify the return policy, after a customer received white paint with a light-blue colour.
Confirm delivery. Confirm the delivery day and call-ahead timing directly, since dates and arrival calls have reportedly changed.
Check pickup. For drive-through pickup, verify the exact branch before travelling; one order was held at Festival City while the customer was at Festival Plaza.

The Bottom Line
ACE in Dubai Hills Estate is a sizeable home-improvement shop where you can browse tools, paint, household goods, garden supplies and outdoor furniture. The most useful review-backed services are custom paint mixing in the Paint Studio, timber cutting and the availability of cartons and storage supplies. A customer also found the outdoor furniture selection closely matched what was shown online.
The helpful side of the experience can be very good when the right department support is available. Reviews describe useful guidance for choosing paint colours, wood and tricky DIY products, while the store itself is described as organised and spacious. It also carries home technology, including Shark, Ninja and Bissell products.
There are important cautions. Prices can be substantially higher than elsewhere: one reviewer compared 100 AED outside with 400 AED at ACE. Delivery dates have reportedly shifted repeatedly, and assembly work was left unfinished on one pergola order.
Return and warranty experiences are also mixed, so confirm the policy before opening or using an item. For a smoother visit, check current opening hours, confirm drive-through pickup at the correct branch, and verify delivery timing. One review places the store near Entrance 1, close to the Cinema parking.
