Tips for a Better Visit
Confirm Charges. Ask for package differences and possible RTA absence fees in writing before paying.
Recheck Bookings. After booking, verify the date and time—one learner’s night class was mistakenly changed to daytime.
Allow Extra Time. Plan for a wait when booking in person, as one customer reported a long delay from staff processing.
Clarify Transfers. If transferring a file from another emirate, confirm eligibility and refund terms before paying registration.
Check Transport. If relying on pick-and-drop, confirm the arrangement beforehand because missed rides were linked to missed classes.

The Bottom Line
Al Ahli Driving Center Jebel Ali Branch is a driving school in Dubai Industrial City for learners working toward a Dubai licence. You can book regular driving lessons, prepare for the RTA road test and ask about specialised routes such as the VIP driving licence and Golden Chance programme. Several reviews describe patient instructors who explained manoeuvres clearly and helped learners pass on the first attempt.
The experience is not consistent. Positive customers mention well-maintained cars, flexible scheduling and helpful support with opening or transferring files. Others describe long waits when booking classes, unanswered queries and cancellations or time changes without notice.
One learner attended night classes but was mistakenly booked into a daytime session afterwards and was then asked to pay a fine. Clarify the full package structure before paying, especially if you are not choosing an unlimited package. A customer reported being quoted 5650 aed for unlimited training but later discovering an RTA absence fee that had not been explained.
If you are transferring a file from another emirate, check the rules and refund conditions first. Pick-and-drop also deserves confirmation, as one review says late or missing transport caused missed lessons.
