Food 3

  1. Fries Net −1
“I ordered 3 sandwiches, so naturally I expected fries for 3 people. But the portion they sent is extremely small it looks like a single portion split between three. For the price and quantity I ordered, this is really disappointing. The food was fine, but the fries portion is not acceptable for 3 meals and this is the not the first time for them also one time I order sandwich marini and i paid extra they give me chicken and i payed extra for nothing and when i call them they say sorry next time I’ll compensate you next time !!!! Am i your friend!!!!!! why i should always remind the staff about their work !!!!there’s more and more and im always giving them chance …i will never buy from you again they are very low in customer service..whenever im going to Tunisian restaurant they do there maximum to make me satisfied and they really care for the customer experience..try to change your staff you will have more sale…”

The Bottom Line

Al Annabi Cafeteria brings Algerian street food to Port Saeed in a small, casual setting. It is worth considering if you want flavours and dishes that reviewers say recall Algeria rather than standard fast food. Customers mention chicken tacos, Algerian merguez pizza, royal bourek and sausage chakchouka; traditional choices such as Tlitli and Reshta also appear in the menu discussion.

The strongest feedback is about authenticity and hospitality. Diners describe the food as tasting like Algeria and say the team is friendly and welcoming, with one family appreciating that staff asked permission before playing music. The décor is Algerian-inspired, and the atmosphere is comfortable and unfussy rather than fancy.

A first visit can work well for someone trying Algerian cuisine for the first time, not only for Algerian diners missing familiar food. Delivery is the main caution. Talabat orders have reportedly taken two or more hours, arrived cold or dry, omitted drinks, and even been cancelled after lengthy waits.

Customers have also reported missed instructions, small fry portions and higher app prices: one review compared pizza at 28 in the restaurant with 33 on Talabat. Dining in appears the safer choice, and it is sensible to check special requests and prices before placing an online order.
