Aperto Gallery

Aperto Gallery is a Dubai-based contemporary art gallery founded by Veronika Berezina and Elena Yushina in 2022. The gallery’s exhibitions and curatorial projects are informed by an artist-centered, art-history-facing philosophy responsive to contemporary challenges. Inspired by the new borderless cartography of solidarity in 2022, Aperto Gallery in Dubai intends to platform a plurality of voices among international and regional artists with curated exhibitions, a publishing program, and educational outreach work. Aperto Gallery is the heir to Aperto Raum, a non-profit experimental space for emerging and renowned international artists that Elena Yushina ran from 2017 to 2021 in the Sophie Gips Höfe in Berlin-Mitte.
