“I love pani puri and then I came across ‘Dahi Puri’: these cute sized snacks are similar to pani puri but tweaked up with fillings. Inside these crunchy shells are a spoonful of potato masala(boiled potatoes cooked with spices), generously covered with Dahi(yogurt), chaat masala, and the most important part is the tangy-spicy chutney/ sauce that is essential for this famous desi street food, and finally topped with some pomegranate seeds, sev(fried gram flour vermicelli), herbs and beetroot. Has all the right flavours to satisfy my much awaited cravings- spicy, sweet, tangy, savory, salty ingredients all bursting in my mouth in each bite.”

Tips for a Better Visit

Showing 2 of 6
1

Try mornings. For a quieter breakfast visit, go in the morning; one customer specifically found it quiet and uncrowded.

2

Order chaat. If you are visiting for street food, consider rajkachori or the extra-spicy samosa chaat rather than choosing blindly.

The Bottom Line

Bikanervala in Al Qusais is a vegetarian Indian restaurant and sweets counter inside the Lulu food court. It suits a quick snack, breakfast, family meal or takeaway box of mithai. The most frequently useful orders mentioned in reviews include chaat, rajkachori, chole bhature, stuffed paratha and sweets such as rasmalai and gulab jamun.

The setting is spacious, bright and clean, with a lively family atmosphere. Breakfast reviewers mention dosa, chana kulcha and aloo paratha, and one found the morning especially quiet. Service is generally described as fast and attentive, while the self-service setup keeps short visits moving.

The branch is near Lulu Hypermarket and a few steps from Stadium Metro Station, with nearby parking also mentioned. There are a few reasons to check your order rather than assume every visit will be consistent. One customer returned a masala dosa after finding a strong smell in the filling and old sev in the sevpuri; another reported a soggy kachori with black masala.

Sweet quality also drew mixed feedback, including a complaint about stale rasmalai. Pricing is not uniformly viewed as good value: one diner criticised the portions of pav bhaji and chole bhature, while another described a 25 AED thali as average. Delivery to Al Nahda Sharjah caused a separate collection dispute, so the food-court visit is the safer plan.
