  10. Monica lewinsky Net +1
“So I finally sat down and ordered two Mocktails. First one called Monica Lewinsky- wink, wink😉...(as a tribute to the former White House intern....ahem.. I will not dwell much on that). The second one was Pomegranate Julep. Both were Presented well but the presentation of pomegranate Julep was quite unique and fascinating. Since it was dark I couldn't get a very clear photograph though. Both the mock-tails tasted swell🤗.”

  13. Pan tumaka Net +1

Food 4

  1. Mushroom al ajillo Net −1
“So....The food wasn't delicious at all. I love Spanish food and I went to Spain. I know what really Spanish like. But here wasn't what I'm expected. The gambas al ajillo and mushroom al ajillo were lower average. Gambas was tiny and not juicy and soft. I felt like a frozen food.”
  2. Spanish omelette Net −1
“The Spanish omelette was not ordinary one. I didn't feel tender and very small.”
  3. Tomato salads Net −1
“Tomato salads was just tomatoes and little bit onions and oranges were sprinkled. I would say they can make better one.”
  4. Vegetables paella Net −1
“The vegetables paella was also lower average and really expensive.”

Drinks 1

  1. White sangria Net −1
“The staff, food, ambiance, and prices are so encouraging to go there again and again. The Paella is awesome and the tapas are so typical. One thing to improve: is not to ad raspberry vodka to the white sangria.. it makes it far less "light and refreshing" as it should be.”

The Bottom Line

Casa De Tapas is a Spanish restaurant in Port Saeed at Dubai Creek Yacht Club, built around shareable tapas, paella and a lively evening atmosphere. You can order seafood paella, gambas al ajillo, truffle croquetas or calamares, then pair the meal with sangria. The menu works well for sharing, and one diner found six tapas enough for two people.

The setting is a major draw. Reviews mention outdoor seating overlooking the creek, harbour and Dubai skyline, while live bands, DJs and Spanish performances bring a party mood to selected evenings and brunches. That makes it suitable for groups and celebratory dinners, but less comfortable if you want quiet conversation: several guests found the music extremely loud, particularly near speakers or in the smoking area.

Brunch receives mixed feedback. Guests praise the music, staff and overall environment, but some found the food ordinary, service slow, vegetarian choices limited and the paella inconsistent. Prices are also viewed differently; a reported brunch package cost AED260 with house beverages or AED315 with bubbly.

Book ahead for busy weekend dinners, ask about current brunch inclusions, and choose an outdoor or quieter table when conditions allow.
