The Bottom Line

Desibites Restaurant L L C is a small Indian restaurant in Al Karama that suits diners looking for North Indian, home-style food without a formal setting. Reviews highlight chicken dum biryani, butter chicken, tandoori dishes and office meal orders. Regular lunch customers also mention dependable delivery timing and consistent portions.

The strongest dish-specific feedback centres on chicken dum biryani, which several customers call a favourite, while butter chicken with parathas and sweet lassi also earns high praise. Customers ordering for work or house parties describe the food as freshly made, well-packed and delivered warm. Affordable combos and a reported 325 AED mess meal combo add to its value appeal, though these are customer-reported prices rather than a current menu.

Dine-in is a different proposition. The restaurant has been described as neat, clean and pleasant, but also small, with limited seating. One customer arrived while the lights were on, found the door locked and waited nearly 20 minutes, so checking service availability before visiting is wise.

Food feedback is mostly positive but not uniform: separate reviews reported poor Pav Bhaji, Mini Thali and Veg Biryani, plus a spoiled raita with one biryani order. Takeaway, delivery or office meals may be the more practical choice if space matters.
