Prof. Dr. Antonio Privitera is the General Secretary of the Emirates Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery (ESCRS).An internationally renowned surgeon and speaker, he is the only proctologist in the world to have both a Mayo Clinic and a London (UK) colorectal fellowship. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He uses the most innovative minimally invasive techniques (Laser for hemorrhoids treatment, anal fistula, anal fissure, VAAFT, EPSiT) and focused on painless surgery. His main interests are: proctology, bowel cancer, inflammatory bowel diseases, pilonidal sinus, hernias of the abdominal wall, gallstones surgery, laparoscopy and robotic surgery.
