Dr Tharaq Barami is a UK Board-certified Consultant Rheumatologist and Physician with expertise in managing various aspects of Rheumatological and Musculoskeletal conditions. He comes to King’s with over 25 years of experience in General Medicine and over 14 years in Rheumatology. Before coming to the UAE, Dr Barami held various consultant positions at the University Hospitals of Leicester and Kettering General Hospital, UK. He attained his MSc in Rheumatology from the University of Manchester and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and a member of the British Society of Rheumatology. After graduating from Manipal Academy in India, Dr Barami pursued his higher training in the UK under National Health Service (NHS),
