Founded in November 2001 with the issuance of a decree from H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai Autism Center (DAC) is a non-profit organization based in Dubai (UAE) dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with Autism and their families. Maintaining international standards, the Center provides intervention programs using a holistic approach for children with Autism. The Center also provides information, support, advice and training to professionals and parents of children with Autism working towards facilitating a better understanding of autism in the UAE community. Dubai Autism Center has led the way in the field of Autism in the region since its inception in 2001.
