Tips for a Better Visit
Confirm Testing. Ask where your RTA parking and final tests will take place before enrolling; this branch may require travel to another location.
Check Slots. Confirm available class times before paying, since some learners reported difficulty finding suitable slots.
Plan Travel. Allow extra time for parking tests and ask about transport, as one learner reported a 90-minute metro journey from the centre.
Allow Time. If choosing a contract package, plan for a multi-month process rather than assuming the licence will be completed quickly.
Clarify Costs. Before starting, ask what happens after a failed test and whether extra lessons are required or charged separately.

The Bottom Line
Dubai Driving Center - Discovery Gardens is a driving school for learners working towards a UAE licence. You can book regular driving lessons, parking training and preparation for the RTA parking and road tests. Reviews commonly mention helpful administration, patient trainers and a motivating learning environment; several learners say they passed on their first attempt.
The strongest feedback is about guidance during the process. Staff are described as helpful with class and test scheduling, while instructors are praised for explaining techniques clearly, correcting mistakes calmly and building confidence in first-time drivers. One review also mentions well-maintained cars and an easy-to-use booking system.
There are practical points to sort out before you enrol. The Discovery Gardens branch does not handle the RTA test itself, so you may need to travel to another branch, including DIP or Al Khail. Parking tests have also been described as being around 90 minutes away by metro, with limited evening slots in one account.
Availability of lesson times is another recurring concern. The experience is not completely consistent: one learner reported excessive shouting during lessons, while others describe calm and supportive training. Ask about instructor style, class availability, test locations and any retest requirements before choosing a package.
