They also have a live singer singing ‘ratpack’ style songs. Recommended!”

What to Avoid (3)

Food 1

  1. Steak on the hot stone Net −1
“The oldest child was having the steak on the hot stone. Now she’s had this in many restaurants before and for such a big steak it should have been sliced for her to cook her own way. It wasn’t. The hot stone also had oil on and was spitting. By the time she had managed to cut such a thick steak the hot stone was no longer hot, therefore not cooking the meat. We asked for another stone and this did come out and was hotter than the first one (no oil) and she managed to cook to her liking.”

Drinks 2

“Arabic coffee wasn’t that much good and it was cold , but the staff whom offer the coffee he was great”

The Bottom Line

Eat & Meat in Trade Centre is a hotel restaurant where buffet dining is the main draw. The menu changes from day to day, and reviews mention business-lunch buffets, Iftar spreads and a Thursday seafood night with a fresh catch station. For à la carte dining, fritto misto, 12-hour short ribs, beef rib steak and grilled salmon are among the more useful dishes to know about.

The setting is generally described as calm, clean, cosy and business-professional. Several reviews praise the attentive service, while the buffet has earned strong comments for its variety, desserts and even vegetables. Families have a kids’ menu; one review specifically liked the Mini Pizza Margherita.

During Ramadan, guests also mentioned Arabic décor, entertainment and kahwa. There are some practical caveats. A few diners found the selection limited or the food average for the price, and one older dinner review reported a wait of more than an hour.

Booking and communication have also slipped: a guest waited at the lounge before learning an indoor party had filled the restaurant. Confirm the buffet time, available seating and whether drinks are included before setting out. If you drive, reviews say valet parking can be free for three hours after validation.
