The Good Stuff
Clear guidance
Staff explain eye-test results and lens choices clearly, helping customers understand what they are buying.
Insurance handling
One customer said the store completed the insurance direct billing and kept them updated until the lenses arrived.
Quick turnaround
Several customers received glasses or lenses ahead of schedule, including one order returned in a day instead of four to five business days.
Helpful repairs
A loose pair of glasses was adjusted quickly, with spare lenses provided while the repair was handled.
Fair pricing
Customers describe frames and lenses as competitively priced, with quality maintained and offers available on some power frames.
Tips for a Better Visit
Confirm hours. Check the current opening time before setting out, since one review reported conflicting timings and a late opening.
Ask about offers. If you need prescription frames, ask about current power-frame offers; a visitor found good deals during an RTA renewal visit.
Discuss insurance. If you have insurance, ask whether direct billing can be processed rather than handling reimbursement yourself.
Mention deadlines. Tell the team if you are travelling or have a tight deadline; one customer received glasses before the promised date.
Check turnaround. Ask for an expected collection date, then confirm when the glasses arrive; reported turnaround times ranged from four to five business days to one day.

The Bottom Line
Emirates Optical - Dubai Land is an optician in Arabian Ranches with a strong reputation for RTA driving-licence eye tests. Customers commonly describe the test and RTA submission as fast, with one review saying the details were uploaded instantly. It is also a place to choose prescription frames, replace lenses and buy contact lenses or sunglasses.
The eyewear selection is a real draw. Reviews mention stylish and fairly priced frames, Zeiss lenses at a good price, comfortable Amara lenses and a Ray-Ban sunglasses purchase made at a good offer price. Customers also describe patient help during frame and lens selection, including support for finding a frame to suit a particular face shape.
Service is often praised for clear explanations, insurance direct billing and WhatsApp updates when lenses arrive. Turnaround can be quicker than quoted: one customer received an order in a day despite an expected four-to-five-business-day window, while another received glasses early because of upcoming travel. There is one practical caution: a review reported that Google Maps hours did not match the shop’s displayed timings, and another said the store opened late and the customer lost an RTA parking fee.
