Tips for a Better Visit
Check availability. Before paying, ask how soon lessons can be booked; one unlimited-package learner waited two weeks between classes.
Confirm rules. Ask for the attendance policy and booking rules in writing, especially if timing is tight.
Prioritise parking. If parking is your weak point, ask how the course handles dedicated parking instruction before booking.
Use feedback. After each assessment, note every mistake and the correction; reviewers found the detailed feedback useful for the next attempt.
Plan ahead. Leave extra time in your schedule between lessons, since availability can vary sharply between learners.

The Bottom Line
Excellence Driving Al Quoz is a driving school for learners working through practical lessons, parking, internal assessments, Smart Yard training and RTA test preparation. The strongest pattern in the reviews is the quality of instruction: learners describe patient explanations, calm corrections and practical feedback that helped them feel more confident. 5 months.
The assessment experience also gets specific praise. Reviewers describe fair instructions, detailed explanations of minor mistakes and constructive guidance after unsuccessful attempts. Smart Yard training is another useful focus, with one learner passing both the internal and RTA Smart Yard assessments first time.
Some reviews also mention cars in very good condition. The main caution is scheduling. Learners report waits of more than a week, 15 days or even two weeks between lessons, which can reduce the value of an unlimited package.
The app and customer support receive mixed feedback too, including delayed bookings, slow test results and conflicting information about rules. Before paying, confirm lesson availability, package conditions and the attendance policy. If parking is a concern, ask how much dedicated parking practice is included, and keep written confirmation of bookings and requirements.
