The Bottom Line
Excellence Driving School in Deira is geared towards people working through the full licensing journey, from beginner lessons and road-rule fundamentals to practical stages and the RTA test. The strongest pattern in the reviews is patient, calm instruction that breaks driving into understandable steps rather than rushing nervous learners. The school’s practical support is just as prominent.
Reviews mention guidance through practical Stages 2, 3 and 4, preparation for the RTA road test, and parking coaching that helped a learner pass the yard test. Several customers also credit the front desk with making registration, class booking, test appointments and schedule changes easier to manage. Timing may be worth discussing when you enrol: one learner specifically found the day and night classes helpful for staying consistent.
Another reported that the vehicles were in excellent condition. If you are a complete beginner, look for an instructor whose pace and manner suit you; most comments describe calm encouragement, but one reviewer found the teaching style strict at times.
