  1. Bbq chicken pizza Net +1
“It's good put something was missing on the BBQ chicken pizza... Lovely staff and wholesome ingredients, offering gluten free and health options you can't go wrong. I'll likely give you another try but will go something more traditional, also the sides look amazing!”
  2. Carnivore large pizzas Net +1
“Ordered the Freegan ( for the vegetarians )and Carnivore Large Pizzas for the Parents along with some potato wedges. Regret not ordering more quantity due to popular choice with the crowd despite other options we had available. It was all enjoyed so quickly , hence couldn’t even take a picture.”
  3. Chicken nuggets Net +1
“So the gluten free pizza is tough, dry, and hard to chew. Be cautious, have water to drink in close proximity. The Chicken nuggets were good.”
  4. Chicken strips Net +1
“Stopped in on their opening night in Sterling heights....fantastic pizza & chicken strips! Love their healthy & good tasting crust! Love the fact that all the ingredients are fresh! No processed NOTHING folks! And U can totally tell be the taste. I will be back again!! Thank U soo much NKD, for the invite! :) It's cheating...but not really cheating on your diet! ;)”
  5. Chocolate chip cookies Net +1
“And the chocolate chip cookies.. om nom... so delicious! My husband and I had to fight for the last piece...”
  6. Detroit orginal (pepperoni) Net +1
“The pizzas we got was the Detroit Orginal (Pepperoni), and Motown Pesto. The pizzas were AED 30 each, and what we loved about it was the crust - it was super thick and crispy on the outside. They try to create their pizzas like a deep dish (it's not a deep dish) which is why the crust is thick, and it was very soft as well. There was perfect balance between the sauce, the toppings, and the crust, and it's one of the most unique pizzas we've ever eaten, and is definitely a must try whether you're a pizza person or not :)”
  7. Freegan Net +1

Food 5

  1. Cheesy breadsticks Net −1
“Cheesy breadsticks were over cooked, flat, not good. Ranch sauce was like water. Pizza sauce was ok. Pizza Oahu. Not good pineapples were hard not fresh. Just overall. Expesive and not good Food was ready in 15 minutes. Great service just food blah”
  2. Nutella banana dessert Net −1
“and the Nutella banana dessert had raw bananas inside not appetizing over sweetened with Nutella.. this is our regular order since we our vegetarian so understand the difference immediately.. either the chef has changed or their quality is deteriorated. Very very disappointed.”
  3. Pizza oahu Net −1
  4. Special order pizza Net −1
“I have a special order pizza that I designed myself and it has previously been consistently good. Last nights was poorly made, lacked some of the usual ingredients and tasted - reheated. Although since the driver was new the pizza took well over an hour to deliver so was actually lukewarm when it arrived. It had also slipped in the box so was crumpled up at one end. I think Freedom Pizza just lost a regular customer.”
  5. Plant eater pizza Net −2
“We had ordered veg plant eater pizza. It was not good at all. First of all it was sweet, second the bread was not good, it was bitter in taste. I am not sure about non veg options but i recommend that do not try this veg pizza. Other pizza franchise are far better than this.”

The Bottom Line

Freedom Pizza | JLT is a pizza restaurant in Jumeirah Lake Towers that customers mostly use for delivery or takeaway. The menu has useful alternatives to standard pizza, including the vegan Freegan, Beyond Meat options and gluten-free bases. The Saatchi is a recurring favourite, while the Detroit Original (Pepperoni) and Motown Pesto were praised for their thick, crisp crust in one review.

Speed is a real strength when the operation runs smoothly. Customers describe pizzas arriving hot and in under 20 minutes, and the online ordering system has been praised for being easy to use, including what3words delivery positioning. For children’s parties, reviewers found the catering boxes handy; one birthday order of Freegan and Carnivore Large pizzas with potato wedges arrived on time and disappeared quickly.

There are important caveats. Dine-in availability appears unclear, with a recent visitor saying the JLT site was not a restaurant, and older reviews mention very limited seating. Crust quality is inconsistent, with reports ranging from gummy and overly thick to tough and dry.

Most seriously, gluten-free customers should confirm cross-contamination safeguards before ordering: multiple reviews describe gluten being mixed up with gluten-free orders or causing a reaction. Check the order on arrival, and treat quoted prices as historical rather than current.
