The Good Stuff
Regular updates
Staff have shared photos and videos during grooming, helping owners see how their pets are being handled before collection.
Deshedding results
The Full Deshedding Treatment was reported to make a noticeable difference for a cat with heavy shedding.
Pickup service
Pick-up and drop-off has been described as efficient and helpful for grooming and vet-related trips.
Reasonable pricing
Several customers describe the grooming prices as reasonable, competitive or affordable, with packages for different preferences.
Pet guidance
New owners have received detailed guidance on food, supplements, vaccinations and home care alongside grooming.
Boarding option
Reviews also mention pet boarding, giving owners an additional service to ask about.
Tips for a Better Visit
Request updates. Ask whether photos or videos can be shared during the appointment; several owners found this reassuring.
Allow time. Do not book a tight follow-up: one cat grooming took three and a half hours because the process was done slowly.
Ask packages. Ask about the three grooming packages and choose according to your preferred treatment and budget.
Use collection. If transport is difficult, ask about pick-up and drop-off; customers have used it for grooming and vet visits.
Check vet advice. For medical concerns, verify advice with a veterinarian rather than treating grooming guidance as a diagnosis.
Confirm timing. Ask for the expected duration before leaving your pet; one review says the centre gives an exact time frame.

The Bottom Line
Fur & Tails is a pet shop and grooming centre in International City, with reviews especially focused on cat grooming. Owners mention full grooming, nail clipping and washing, breed-specific work for Persian cats, Maltipoos and huskies, and a Full Deshedding Treatment that made a visible difference for a shedding cat. Nervous and rescue cats are a recurring theme, with several reviewers describing slow, patient handling.
Communication is a real strength when it works as described. Customers have received photos and videos during the appointment, step-by-step updates, and an estimated grooming time. Pick-up and drop-off is useful if you cannot stay or need help getting a pet to a vet visit.
Some reviews also mention boarding and advice on food, supplements, vaccinations and general care. There are important caveats. Two reviewers reported strong smells and poor cleanliness, one reported an uneven haircut after a two-hour visit, and another alleged that a cat returned limping.
A reviewer also questioned medical advice from a groomer, so veterinary concerns should be checked with a qualified vet. Ask about the three grooming packages and allow plenty of time: one cat appointment took three and a half hours. Reported prices include 125 Aed for cat grooming and 50Dhs for puppy pickup and return.
