Tips for a Better Visit
Confirm tension. For racket stringing, repeat your preferred tension and ask what string will be used before the work begins.
Compare prices. Check the price against another seller before paying, especially for higher-value items such as bats or rackets.
Check stock. Call or message first for specific models or sports because the small shop has limited options and some items may be out of stock.
Avoid busy hours. If you want quicker service, visit outside busy periods, when one customer reported a short wait.
Inspect items. Ask to see cricket items properly and check the product before purchase, since one customer felt the items were not adequately shown.

The Bottom Line
Galaxy Sports LLC- IC BRANCH is a small sporting goods shop in International City that is especially useful for badminton. Customers come here for rackets, shuttle corks, footwear, grips and racket stringing, while cricket and tennis equipment broaden the basic selection. Its location also makes it a convenient nearby option for residents who would otherwise travel farther for sports supplies.
The strongest recurring positives are affordability, approachable advice and the badminton-focused range. One regular customer says they have been happy with the re-stringing service, and other reviews mention helpful staff, reasonable prices and good-quality everyday items. Parking was also noted as a convenience.
There are trade-offs. The shop is small, so choices can be limited, and some reviews raise serious concerns about product quality, inconsistent pricing and customer service. One badminton customer says an incorrectly tensioned racket cracked, while another says a string broke after only two games.
A separate review describes changing prices for a cricket bat. For an important or expensive purchase, compare prices, inspect the item carefully and confirm string type and tension before accepting racket work. Visiting outside busy hours may also reduce waiting.
