Tips for a Better Visit
Shop In-Store. For urgent purchases, consider visiting the branch rather than ordering online, as one review reported late delivery.
Avoid Peaks. Allow extra time at busy periods: a reviewer specifically mentioned queues of small items at the checkout.
Ask Questions. If you are buying a gift or console, ask staff to compare the available options; reviews say this made choosing easier.
Check Timing. If arriving around opening, confirm the branch’s access timing first; one family was asked to return after 10:00 AM.
Clarify Repairs. For a defective new accessory, ask how long inspection will take; one case was quoted four to six days before next steps.

The Bottom Line
Geekay in Mirdif is a compact gaming shop where you can buy PS5 consoles, Nintendo Switch products, PlayStation games, gaming PCs and accessories. Reviews make the in-store advice the main draw: shoppers describe receiving patient explanations when choosing a console or gift, while PC buyers were guided toward suitable options for their budgets. Recent Mario releases were also reported as easy to find.
The branch goes beyond shelf sales. Customers brought in PCs for cleaning, with one service completed in an hour, and others received help getting a faulty or newly purchased console working. The store also has a large anime action-figure range, some rare Hot Wheels, Pokémon cards and Funko Pops, so it is worth browsing if you are shopping for a gamer or collector.
Expect a small, thoughtfully arranged space, and allow more time at the checkout during peak periods. Pricing is not always the lowest: one review compared an 899 dhs Switch Lite with a 799 dhs price elsewhere. Online delivery drew a separate complaint for lateness, although the customer later said support resolved the issue.
A handful of May reviews also reported rude or inconsistent treatment at opening, so confirming timing and checking return or inspection procedures for new electronics is sensible.
