The Bottom Line
Goldenway Electrical Ware is an electrical materials shop in Al Quoz where you can source switches, sockets, wiring devices and lighting. Reviews specifically mention ABB wiring devices, Schneider AvatorOn switches and sockets, and LED lights. That makes it useful for both a quick replacement and larger project purchasing.
The store’s strongest practical points are range and availability. Contractors describe a wide selection of branded materials, quick quotations and efficient invoicing, while other customers mention fast delivery and good stock. Staff have also helped shoppers understand product specifications, choose between switches and sockets, and find an alternative when the exact item was unavailable.
The reviews include support for both bulk materials and smaller tools, so it is not limited to one type of buyer. There are two cautions worth keeping in mind. One customer said a Bosch laser level was quoted at 710 AED but had risen to 1,070 AED when they returned to collect it, so reconfirm an order price before collection.
Another reported difficulty returning an item after more than a month, even though it was in its original packaging. Ask about the return window and conditions before paying, particularly for renovation purchases that may sit unused for a while.
