Food 2

  1. Falafel platter Net −1
“They still have lots of vegan options, so we got the hummus beiruti and the falafel platter. The hummus and bread were very good, really the only enjoyable thing about the meal. The falafel platter wasn’t very good, the falafels were very dense and stodgy and not very flavourful, and pickles were weirdly extremely salty? Waitstaff were not particularly friendly either which is unusual compared to everywhere else we’d been. The food is very reasonably priced and service is very quick but flavours seemed to be pretty hit and miss”
  2. Kebab roll Net −1
“One star less as the bread on the side was hard and the kebab roll lacked flavour.”

The Bottom Line

Habib Beirut is a Lebanese restaurant in Dubai Marina, with a menu built around fresh bread, hummus, shawarma, grilled meats and traditional desserts. The mixed grill, beef shawarma with spicy hummus, hot kubus and kunafa are among the clearest review-backed reasons to visit. Portions are often generous, and a grilled kebab dish was large enough for two people to share.

The setting adds to the appeal. Reviews mention marina views, outdoor seating, spacious tables and a warm atmosphere, with the restaurant only a walk from Marina Mall. The venue also has separate Italian and Japanese sections, plus a shisha area, so it can work for groups who do not all want the same cuisine.

Smokers and non-smokers can use separate areas. Service is usually described as fast, friendly and attentive, including considerate help for families with elderly guests and recommendations for solo diners. There are a few cautions: vegan mock meat was unavailable on one visit, and that reviewer found the falafel dense, the pickles very salty and the flavours inconsistent.

Lebanese coffee also struck one guest as overly dark. One reported meal of spicy hummus, freshly baked bread and beef shawarma with fries cost 80 AED, though this should not be treated as a current price list.
