Precise Work
A custom pet unit was executed down to the millimetre, showing strong attention to measurements and fit.

Plywood sheets were cut immediately, and one customer had a broken wooden mirror repaired on the spot.
Complex Projects
The workshop handled a piano desk designed around an unusually sized piano and measured it for a precise fit.
Helpful Advice
Customers describe collaborative guidance on materials, finishes and design options rather than simply taking measurements.
Tips for a Better Visit
Confirm Quotes. Get the price and service area confirmed before travelling; one customer reached out repeatedly but never received a quote.
Bring Measurements. Share clear dimensions or sketches, especially for unusual furniture; the piano desk was measured with the piano for fit.
Ask Timelines. Agree a completion date and update process upfront, particularly for repairs, after one bed was held for over seven days.
Try Small Jobs. For simple cutting or minor adjustments, visiting the workshop may be worthwhile: plywood sheets were cut immediately.
Discuss Finishes. Explain how you will use the furniture so the team can recommend a suitable finish, as one varnishing customer did.
Plan Delivery. Ask about collection, delivery and installation for bulky furniture; a customer arranged those services for an additional fee.

The Bottom Line
Haneef Carpentry is a long-established workshop in Al Quoz, established in the 1980s and focused on made-to-measure woodworking. You can bring in a sketch for a custom table top, order tailored shelves or furniture, have plywood sheets cut, or ask for repairs and refinishing. The strongest reviews describe a hands-on design process, accurate measurements and finished pieces that match unusual requirements.
Speed is a real draw for smaller or urgent jobs. Customers report plywood cutting done immediately, a broken wooden mirror repaired on the spot, shelves adjusted within minutes and some custom work completed within a day. More involved pieces can include delivery, pickup and labour installation for an additional fee, so ask what is included before agreeing to the job.
The main caution is communication consistency. Several customers praise clear updates and quick service, but others describe unanswered messages, a month-long attempt to get a response, or a repair held for more than seven days without updates. Pricing also varies: one minor furniture quote was reported as four times the cost of a similar Amazon item, while other reviews call the work reasonably or affordably priced.
