The Bottom Line
Idea Star Packing Materials Company LLC is a useful stop in Al Quoz when you need moving supplies or want someone else to pack an awkward, fragile or shipment-bound item. You can buy boxes and cartons, or bring in something such as a computer, glass frame or mirror for secure packing. Customers also mention custom wooden boxes and cartons made to specific dimensions.
The strongest pattern in the reviews is responsiveness. One urgent shipment was sorted, packed and delivered on the same day, while another customer received 15 domestic-use cartons the next day. Custom work is a particular strength: the team has handled airline-size requirements and produced a box for a 55-inch television when a standard carton was unavailable.
Pricing is repeatedly described as reasonable, including for good-quality boxes and supplies that compared favourably with supermarkets. The range mentioned by customers includes empty cartons, tape and other packing materials, with boxes available from small to large. If you are driving, one reviewer found the shop easy to find, access and park at.
There is one clear caution: a customer reported poor manners during a phone call. For a time-sensitive or highly specific order, confirm the dimensions, quantity and delivery timing in advance.
