The Bottom Line
S Music is a guitar-focused musical instrument shop in Ibn Battuta Mall, serving the Jebel Ali Village area. You can compare acoustic, electric and 12-string guitars, browse ukuleles and accessories, and get help choosing an instrument rather than simply taking the first model off the shelf. The reviews also point to restringing, tuning and guitar setup support.
The strongest reason to visit is the chance to try instruments at your own pace. Customers describe playing several guitars without pressure, and one shopper spent almost an hour and a half across two visits before choosing a Taylor GS mini Koa. The range includes named models such as the Martin D10e 02, Baby Taylor and Epiphone Les Paul 50s Standard, alongside brands including Martin and Taylor.
For repairs or maintenance, ask exactly what the work includes. Reviews mention helpful restringing, fretboard cleaning and conditioning, but an older customer reported a poorly fitting nut, high action and buzzing after an action adjustment. Pricing also deserves a quick check: one tuning pedal was marked AED 149 but quoted at AED 200 after the promotion was said to have ended.
The shop is a few minutes from the metro via the mall bridge, and one guitar order arrived from the Deira warehouse within hours.
