Food 2

  1. Half radish kimchi jar Net −1
“I ordered half radish kimchi jar and it was awful, not good, and even expired.”
  2. Tuna gimbap Net −1
“I ordered the kimchi stew with beef and the tuna gimbap. Honestly the kimchi stew tasted quite good! I think it’s closer to Korean taste compared to other restaurants here. The portion size for the kimchi stew was large and had a good amount of beef (definitely didn’t skimp out) and good for the price. I recommend if you purchase from here. Unfortunately I feel I can’t give it 4/5 stars because of a couple of things. Starting with the gimbap. It tasted fine, not exceptional but not bad either. I was disappointed because majority of my bite was just cucumber and lacked depth in flavor. The gimbap is 72 dirham which I think is a ridiculous price. They are not large sized gimbap at all, and if you go to other restaurants they are very similar and half the price. I figured if it must be priced higher, they’re larger and taste quite good. I was disappointed and felt like it was a waste of my money.”

Tips for a Better Visit

1

Confirm location. For pickup, look for the shared cloud-kitchen setup rather than a conventional restaurant frontage; ask for the menu at the white tables.

2

Check availability. If you want the lunch combo, confirm it is being served before ordering, as one customer found that menu section unavailable.

The Bottom Line

Kimchi Nom Nom is a delivery- and catering-only Korean cloud kitchen in Al Quoz, with pickup also mentioned in customer reviews. It is a useful choice when you want Korean comfort food at home or food for a gathering rather than a polished restaurant dining room. Customers often mention bibimbap, beef bulgogi, kimchi stew and tuna kimbap, while catering reviews describe varied, well-presented food for birthdays and other celebrations.

The strongest dish-specific feedback centres on the kimchi stew, described as close to Korean taste with a large portion and plenty of beef. Bibimbap, bulgogi, dumplings, japchae and tteokbokki also receive enthusiastic mentions, and several customers found the servings generous enough to share. The ordering process includes dietary symbols, and the menu can accommodate vegetarian and vegan needs when clarified upfront.

There are a few practical cautions. The kitchen can be easy to miss inside a shared facility, and one customer found the lunch combo unavailable at lunchtime. Check current prices before paying: Google listings were reportedly outdated, while another review describes a 75 AED menu price being charged as 78 AED.

The 72-dirham gimbap was also considered poor value, and a separate order reportedly arrived without its cold noodles.
