“We were to eager to try Clay Pot Biryani from here and we got it. To be honest, it was not satisfying. The biryani was not made fresh, pot And the dough on top was not even oven roasted well. Pot was not even hot enough and it felt like normal biryani rice and gravy was poured over into the pot and heated up a lil. Taste was good. Quality also was decent. Quantity was just okay. Price to value, did not feel it's worth it.”

“I can eat mutton with bones as its juicy and tender but as much as i like with bones i can not eat bonless mutton at all. Its a big no no for me as its always hard to eat and i have dietary restrictions which stop me from eating any bonless meat including chicken. But even after choosing “mutton dumpukht biryani bones on the restaurant sends without bones just boiled meat mixed with biryani spices and masala. I stopped ordering since February but yesterday i was craving for your biryani. And yet again they send me bonless hard meat which was bolied and tastless.”

Eat Fresh. For the best kulcha texture, eat it at the restaurant rather than ordering takeaway; one diner specifically found fresh kulcha better.
Check Ingredients. If you avoid eggs or follow a strict vegetarian diet, confirm the kulcha ingredients before ordering.
Confirm Orders. Check delivery bags against the order, especially combo extras: one non-veg thali arrived without its listed salad.
Ask About Meat. For mutton biryani, confirm whether bone-in meat is available if that matters to you; one customer repeatedly received boneless meat instead.
Allow Time. The branch is in a food-court-style area and can be confusing to find, particularly in the evening.
Use Parking. Drivers can look for the DSO branch in B Tower, where a review reports free parking outside.
Plan the visit
One customer found most dishes excessively oily and lacking freshness, so this may not suit diners avoiding rich food.
A recent review says the kulchas had become noticeably dry, particularly affecting the takeaway experience.
The Silicon Oasis branch is in a food-hall-style setting; one visitor disliked its lighting and presentation.
Delivery complaints include unavailable items, a missing salad and meat arriving without the requested bones.
One vegetarian reviewer was upset to learn that the kulchas contained egg despite being shown as vegetarian in apps and menus.

The Bottom Line
Kulcha King is a Dubai Silicon Oasis Indian restaurant where the clearest draw is the stuffed kulcha. Customers mention aloo, paneer, chicken keema and jalapeño-and-cheese versions, with several describing a satisfying crisp-and-soft texture. Biryani and kebabs also have a strong following, while mango lassi is a popular accompaniment.
The food is not entirely consistent. Some diners received fresh, delicious meals and generous portions; one said a single heavy kulcha could feed two people. Others reported excessively oily dishes, dry kulchas and food that did not feel fresh.
Takeaway may also lose some of the kulcha’s appeal, so eating it fresh at the branch is the safer choice. Delivery deserves a quick check before you settle in: reviews mention missing salad, unavailable menu items and mutton biryani arriving with hard boneless meat despite a bone-in request. The clay pot biryani was also criticised in one order for seeming reheated rather than freshly prepared.
The DSO branch sits in a food-court-style area, with free parking reported outside B Tower, though the lighting and evening appearance have drawn criticism. Strict vegetarians should confirm the kulcha ingredients first, as one customer reported that the dough contained egg despite vegetarian labelling.
