  20. Plated buffet Net +1
“It was worth the try. A lot of my friends recommended the restaurant and it was really worth it. Myo really did great suggestions for what was recommended. It was simply the best. Thanks a lot. The plated buffet is a must try. The weekend provided more variety and at a cheaper cost.”
  21. Prawn salad rolls Net +1
“The prawn salad rolls tasted fresh and light, and the Pad Dum Chicken with steamed rice was super comforting.”
  22. Seafood rice noodles bowl Net +1
“I popped into Little Bangkok for what I naïvely described as a light lunch. Naturally, I ordered a seafood rice noodles bowl, extra spicy. Because nothing says “productive afternoon” like voluntary combustion. The Food First of all, 55 AED for a generously filled seafood noodle bowl in Dubai is practically suspicious. I kept waiting for the catch. There wasn’t one. The seafood was actually respectable — prawns that hadn’t given up on life, calamari that wasn’t impersonating rubber bands, and a broth that clearly had opinions. Strong ones. Now let’s address the “extra spicy.” When they say extra spicy, they mean it in the most polite Thai way possible: “Of course, sir. We will now test your character.” It wasn’t theatrical heat. It was strategic. The kind that creeps up quietly and then occupies your sinuses like it’s signed a tenancy agreement. Portion Size “Light lunch” turned out to be wildly optimistic. The bowl was generous enough to make you reconsider any dinner plans and possibly your life choices. Atmosphere Efficient, unfussy, reliably consistent. You order, you receive, you perspire slightly, you reflect. Final Thoughts • Good value • Proper flavour • Spice level that politely restructured my afternoon • Not remotely “light,” but that’s on me Would I order extra spicy again? Absolutely. I clearly haven’t learned anything. Four stars. Because while it was excellent, it did not personally apologise to me when the chilli kicked in. And I do enjoy accountability.”
  23. Starter platter Net +1
“The dynamite shrimp delivered the perfect balance of cheesy goodness with a spicy kick, while the starter platter (chicken satay, vegetable rolls, and more) did not disappoint.”
  24. Sticky mango rice Net +1
“We ordered our favorites: Pad thai, pineapple rice, pancake crispy duck, dynamite shrimp and sticky mango rice to name a few (because we ordered so much as we are so hungry!!).”
  25. Sticky rice with mango and ice cream Net +1
“Give the sticky rice with mango and ice cream as try as well for dessert. It was fantastic.”
  26. Tom yum Net +1
“The Tom Yum was delicious, and I can’t wait to visit this place again.”
  27. Tom yum prawn Net +1
“Tom Yum Prawn: This was exceptional. The broth had the perfect balance of spicy, sour, and aromatic lemongrass. The prawns were fresh and succulent, clearly cooked with care rather than just tossed in.”
  28. Tom yum soup Net +1
“The Tom Yum Soup is flavorful, with just the right heat and spice—though I wish they had mussels as an option since only shrimp was available.”
  29. Unlimited prawns thainamite option Net +1
“We had a jar of a very refreshing soda drink to start with and then the food was delicious (had the unlimited prawns thainamite option = tons of nice food + dessert) and fulfilling!”
  30. Vietnamese spring rolls Net +1
“Good cuts of meat and quick friendly service. The Kataron duck and Beef with garlic were superb. Really enjoyed the Vietnamese spring rolls.”

  2. Tomyum soup Net −1
“Just ordered tomyum soup via careem. The soup arrives sealed as it should, but completely dry for soup. Only filling and rice on the side. I complained but no refund possibly. Arrogant buissness model and you just lost a good costomer.”

The Bottom Line

Little Bangkok in DIFC is a Thai restaurant worth considering when you want both familiar favourites and a broad tasting meal. The menu highlights include khao soi beef noodles, Tom Yum Prawn, Pad Thai and mango sticky rice, while the weekend unlimited format lets you order from the menu rather than simply taking food from a hot bar. The unlimited deals are especially useful for groups.

Reviews mention three-hour and weekend packages with drinks and desserts, plus promotions where the fourth diner eats free. Dishes that drew specific praise include the rich khao soi, roasted duck, Pad Krapao beef and mango sticky rice. Vegetarian diners also found worthwhile choices, including Pad Kee Mao Vegan.

Desserts are a real part of the appeal, with mango shaved ice and brownie with coconut ice cream appearing repeatedly. The atmosphere is generally described as clean, cosy and relaxed, and the branch is near Emirates Towers Metro Station. Valet parking is available too.

Weekend demand can be heavy, so booking ahead is sensible; one diner waited 20–30 minutes to be served. Service is often attentive, but a separate review reported a missing dessert and another described a delivery arriving without its soup. Spice levels can also be serious when you order extra spicy.
