The Good Stuff
Personal shopping
A personal shopper can narrow down baby purchases, explain options and even prepare a gift selection around your budget.
After-sales help
The store has helped resolve difficult stroller issues, including sourcing replacement wheels for a discontinued Nuna Triv free of charge.
Car-seat checks
For a loose ISOFIX base, staff went to the customer's car and fixed the connectors so the base was secure and stable.
Spare parts
A broken stroller wheel was diagnosed, matched with spare parts and sent to Abu Dhabi, with installation help provided by phone.
Gift selection
The range includes stylish baby gifts, and one review describes thoughtful selections being assembled from a budget and a few instructions.
Tips for a Better Visit
Request demonstrations. If you are buying a car seat, ask staff to demonstrate the fitting and, where possible, check the installation in your car.
Confirm assembly. Get delivery and assembly terms confirmed in writing before buying nursery furniture; reviews report conflicting information after delivery.
Use the shopper. For a gift or first-baby shop, send your budget and requirements in advance so the personal-shopping service can prepare suitable options.
Find the store. The newer location is described as being next to the aquarium on the second floor, useful context when navigating the mall.
Check comparisons. Compare online prices before committing, particularly for larger nursery items where one customer reported a 200 AED difference.

The Bottom Line
Mamas & Papas is a baby store in Downtown Dubai, with reviews especially strong on hands-on help for first-time parents. You can compare strollers, Cybex car seats, nursery furniture and baby gifts, while staff demonstrate products rather than simply pointing you to a shelf. Several customers describe personal-shopping support that made large purchases easier to decide.
The most useful service is the practical guidance around safety gear. One customer received a step-by-step explanation of how to use a Cybex car seat correctly; another had a loose ISOFIX base checked and fixed at the car. Stroller support also goes beyond the sale in some cases, with spare parts sourced and sent to Abu Dhabi and replacement wheels arranged for a discontinued Nuna Triv.
The store is described as next to the aquarium on the second floor of its newer location. Before buying furniture, confirm assembly and delivery in writing: reviews report promised assembly that was later unavailable, including a box left outside the home. There is also one unresolved gift-card complaint and a report of a strong chemical odour from a changing table.
Comparing online prices is sensible for bigger purchases.
