The Good Stuff
Clean finishes
One villa customer said ceiling work after AC coil cleaning was restored so neatly that the repair was hard to see.
One-visit repair
A home AC issue that other companies had inspected three times was reportedly fixed in one visit.
Water heaters
A leaking water heater was replaced within three hours of arrival, with ceiling replacement and repainting completed afterward.
Remote quoting
For a villa water-pump replacement, photos and video were used to quote the job without an extra inspection visit.
Neat installation
A customer found the Nest thermostat installation fast and tidy, which is useful for a detail-sensitive home upgrade.
Polite teams
Several reviews describe technicians as punctual, friendly and willing to answer questions while working.
Tips for a Better Visit
Confirm fees. Ask whether the callout fee is deducted from later work; a customer reported a non-refundable AED 200 inspection charge.
Send photos. For a straightforward replacement, send photos and video first and request a written quote; this avoided a separate pump inspection for one customer.
Confirm vehicle. For moving work, confirm the vehicle type and price in writing before payment, especially if you specifically need a van.
Document repairs. For leaks or recurring blockages, ask for the diagnosis, proposed fix and follow-up terms in writing before approving extra work.

The Bottom Line
Man and Van Services LLC handles property maintenance in Al Quoz, with reviews covering villa and apartment repairs, AC servicing, plumbing, electrical work and handyman jobs. The strongest accounts are about speed and finish: an AC team arrived by 7:00pm after a 4:30pm report, while another customer said a water heater was replaced within three hours and the ceiling repaired afterward. AC cleaning, water-pump replacement and Nest thermostat installation are also specifically mentioned.
Clean-up is a recurring positive. One villa customer said a ceiling cut open for AC coil cleaning was restored so neatly that it looked untouched, and other reviewers describe teams leaving homes tidy. A water-pump customer also received a quote from photos and video without a separate inspection, which can make a small job easier to arrange.
The caution is inconsistency. Other customers report unresolved roof leaks, weak troubleshooting on a blocked toilet, repeat visits for defective work, slow replies and unexpected charges. Contract wording has also been criticised, including a reported conflict between “unlimited” callouts and a 12-callout limit.
Before booking, get the vehicle, callout fee, labour inclusions, diagnosis and any extra work in writing. The reviews suggest strong results are possible, but careful scope and price checks matter.
