    Mixed feedback

“This is one of the best place that u can have lamb chops in Dubai. The marination is so well done the meat just melts in your mouth. With the price and quality combination this deserves an easy 5 star rating”

“Shocked to see 7aed charge for a small glass turkish tea though! Turkish hospitality the tea should be complimentary, it’s just hot water and tea leaf in a small tulip glass nothing so unique”

The Bottom Line

Masa Turkish Eatery is a casual Turkish restaurant in Al Barsha where breakfast is one of the clearest draws. The signature Turkish breakfast has been praised for its fresh pita, eggs, beef, several cheeses, olives, jam and honey, with Turkish tea and coffee alongside it. For later meals, reviewers mention pide, kofte, mezze, grilled sea bass and baklava.

The setting is relaxed rather than formal. You can sit indoors or outside, and one guest used the outdoor area for evening coffee. Families are welcome, and a review says spicy and non-spicy dishes arrived in under 20 minutes.

Portions have been described as generous, while other diners felt the cig kofte and mezze were small for their prices. Food quality is not completely consistent. Kofte, pide, fish and some desserts receive warm praise, but reviews also mention a tough lamb-chop order, bland helim, stale toast and chicken tantuni that did not taste authentic to one diner.

Service is often called friendly and professional, though complaints about rude handling and slow attention also appear. Ask for garlic sauce rather than assuming it is included, and check parking before driving because reviews disagree about availability.
