The Bottom Line
Melodica Music Academy in Palm Jumeirah combines private music tuition with dance classes. Reviews are especially useful for families considering piano lessons, ballet or singing, while adults mention violin and guitar learning too. The strongest pattern is teacher-led progress: children look forward to classes, and one beginner violin student said tailored songs and online lessons helped them keep progressing.
Parents repeatedly describe the setting as welcoming, organised, clean and safe. Ballet teachers are praised for being gentle and attentive, and one parent said the classes helped her daughter feel more comfortable around other children before school. Reception staff are often described as accommodating; one reviewer also found parking at Palm Jumeirah Mall free and traffic easy.
Do read the package conditions before paying. Several reviewers reported strict expiration, cancellation or extension rules: one singing student had two school-cancelled lessons but was refused a two-week extension, while others mentioned no refund or lost guitar lessons. Another review described a teacher change without notice.
These accounts sit alongside reviews praising flexible scheduling and online lessons, so confirm the current policy, teacher availability and what happens after a cancellation in writing. If you buy an instrument, ask about setup and returns first. A ukulele buyer said the strings needed tuning five or six times daily and learned that returns were limited to seven days.
