Food 3

  1. Houmous Net +6
“However, the true star of the meal was the houmous. Its creamy texture, rich flavours, and perfect blend of spices made it an absolute favourite of mine. The delicious houmous alone made the dining experience worthwhile!”
  2. Cheese sambousek Net +2
“I'm a fan of cheese sambousek and I always ordered this. Other items on the menu are nice too. Usually there're 5 peices of cheese sambousek per 1 order. I last ordered just 4 days ago. Today, I ordered 2 and both came 4 pieces. Deliveroo contacted them and the manager claimed there're 4 pieces per order. Very disappointing! Either they don't want to admit it was a mistake or they decided to reduce the quantity just in the last 4 days which I doubt. If they do decide to reduce quantity, I might consider ordering from somewhere else. Such a shame to lose repeat customer over 1 piece of sambousek.”
  3. Kunafa Net +2
“Don’t miss the kunafa it’s delicious”

The Bottom Line

Mezze House Restaurant is a Lebanese spot in Yansoon that combines Levantine food with a strong Downtown Dubai setting. The main draw is the Burj Khalifa view, particularly from the outdoor seating. Reviews also make a convincing case for the hummus, Batata Harra, Mixed Grill and mint lemonade, while yalanji and Palestinian makloubeh add useful alternatives beyond grilled meats.

The atmosphere ranges from comfortable to lively. Families and groups use it for gatherings and small birthday functions, and shisha is available in separate indoor and outdoor areas. Shisha quality receives both praise and criticism, so it is not quite as dependable as the view or the hummus.

Friday karaoke is another feature, but evenings can become crowded and loud, with one diner also finding the ventilation poor. Service is the main variable. Several guests describe friendly, attentive staff, yet busy periods and events have produced long waits, forgotten orders and slow bill handling.

Go outside peak congestion if timing matters. Basement or indoor parking is available, but it may be paid; stamp the ticket, and watch for valet arrangements that can make exiting awkward. Pricing opinions vary, with some guests finding it reasonable and others saying portions became smaller as prices rose.
