Tips for a Better Visit
Ask brands. If you need sanitaryware or switches, ask about RAK ceramic products and Schneider switches specifically.
Check luxury range. For premium showering or bathing brands, confirm the available range first because one review found it limited.
Discuss price. Ask whether the quoted price is negotiable; one customer described the prices as a little bit negotiable.
Confirm follow-up. For larger or time-sensitive orders, confirm the quantity and response process before leaving or relying on a callback.
Plan early. An older review reported opening hours from 6.30am to 7.00pm, which may suit early material collection; verify current hours first.

The Bottom Line
Mohd Al Qama Building Material Trading is a practical building-materials stop in Al Quoz, especially if you are sourcing renovation or general construction supplies in one visit. Reviews mention a broad range of materials, tools and fittings, with customers describing the shop as a one-stop option rather than a place for just one specialist category. The named products give a clearer sense of the range: Jotun paint, RAK ceramic products for sanitaryware, Schneider switches and Mapei 5 side sealer all appear in customer comments.
Other reviews mention electrical, plumbing and refrigeration items, as well as compressors and welding accessories. That makes it worth asking about a specific brand or item instead of assuming it is unavailable. Pricing is repeatedly described as competitive, and one customer found it a little negotiable.
The sales team is often credited with explaining options and helping customers choose materials, although service is not perfectly consistent: one review describes repeated calls going unanswered, while another criticises service in Jafza. If your order is urgent or quantity-sensitive, confirm availability and follow-up before relying on a callback. 00pm, so check the current schedule before planning an early collection.
