Food 8

  1. Chicken club Net −1
“Worse ever chicken club I ever eaten in my entire life...how on earth could chicken club be made with parata? I can even understand the taste... This a complete waste of time and with cash.... I don't recommend this at all except you want to wast your own time and cash...”

  3. Panipuri Net −1
“Very bad dahi puri there was no even handmade balls ( puri ) it was readymade and taste was horrible they put onions in that puri and it was disgusting and i was really disappointed with that food it was horrible instead of this try their badam tea its almond tea and don’t try the stuff like panipuri and all”
  4. Pomegranate juices Net −1
“I ordered 2 pomegranate juices and they came with pink color water contained lots of sugar in it. When i complained, they said pomegranates are out of season so the taste is not up to the mark. Poor quality chef and food. Zero customer services”
  5. Shezwan hakka noodles Net −1
“Worst taste, ordered for shezwan Hakka noodles they sent me noodles with some veggies on top, spoiled egg, spoiled chicken. May be coz or unprofessional chef who don’t know how to cook Chinese.”
  6. Tandoor roti Net −1
“We ordered a pickup for some bread (roti), and getting home we find this. Mind you the bread was given in foil packaging that means the oil stains on the roti were there when packed. The other thing is, the bread was pre-cut (normally tandoor roti is always kept in the form of how its made, basically uncut) but this is how we got ours. Its hard to come to a conclusion but it does seem that the bread we ordered was clearly been used before and we were given leftovers. Never again.”
  7. Thanduri rooti Net −1
“Very bad experience with this restaurant, we ordered thanduri rooti, it's got burned more like complete black, we informed them, they taken back and again they servered same after removing this block from roti. Too wrost and testy also not good”
  8. Veg biryani Net −1
“Worst veg biryani i have ever had, pls stop selling it”

The Bottom Line

Moon Tea Club Café & Restaurant in Al Mankhool is a casual choice for Indian meals, tea and snacks, with indoor and outdoor seating. The clearest draws in the reviews are Peri Peri Charcoal Chicken, butter chicken, mutton or Hyderabadi biryani, and fresh milk or badam tea. The outdoor area gets particular praise for evening visits and relaxed gatherings.

Food feedback is mixed rather than uniformly reliable. Several diners describe authentic flavours, generous portions and reasonable meal prices, while others had poor experiences with the veg biryani, dahi puri, Hakka noodles or burnt roti. That makes dish selection worth some thought, especially if you are ordering unfamiliar snacks.

Service has also varied sharply. Some reviewers found the staff friendly and quick, but others reported delayed orders, rude interactions and unexplained differences between takeaway and seated prices. Ask about current dine-in charges before ordering tea or snacks, and check the bill against the menu.

Hygiene is the most serious caution: reviews mention cockroaches, dirty washrooms and missing hand soap. If that matters for your visit, take a quick look around before settling in. Delivery and busy-time orders may also need patience.
