“This was actually our second visit, and while we enjoyed the meal, we noticed that the fried chicken was again served quite late compared to the other dishes. We hope this can be improved on future visits.”

“We were here last December and I can say that what was served before is completely different now. I am ashamed that I even took my brother and friends to go here. We left the restaurant with dissapointment. This is just an honest review based on what we ate and what we experienced. We spent 104 each excluding vat. The food was unfortunately not worth the price. The quality of the meat used was disappointing and did not meet expectations. We were also surprised that the kimchi served was made with regular cabbage instead of traditional Chinese cabbage, which affected the authenticity and taste of the the kimchi. Additionally, the server did not inform us about the waiting time for the Korean chicken, leaving us waiting much longer than expected without any update. Overall, the experience did not justify the cost.”

“We ordered Tteokbokki in addition to that: it was tasty, but if you are not a fan of a sweet hint in your tteokbokki, then make sure you ask them about it. The one we ordered came with cheese and boiled egg, it tasted a little bit sweet. Even though it said in the description of the menu spicy, it wasn’t 🤣 Maybe they thought we are not able to handle spices. But to be honest it was ok, our stomach wasn’t ready for spices that day. But make sure you tell them your spice levels so you don’t get disappointed later.”

Check spice. Tell the staff your preferred spice level: one diner found both tteokbokki and Korean fried chicken milder and sweeter than expected.
Confirm VAT. Before paying, check whether VAT is included; one customer said the menu did not clearly explain that it would be charged separately.
Allow time. If ordering fried chicken, ask about the expected wait and follow up, since one anniversary visit received it later than the other dishes.
Plan parking. Allow extra time to park. A visitor found public parking behind the restaurant and walked about five minutes to the venue.
Check portions. For delivery, confirm the current portion size before ordering if value matters, as one regular diner reported a major reduction online.
Ask about sets. Ask which all-you-can-eat set includes premium meats: the Seol Mukbang set was described as including ribeye and wagyu, unlike the AED 69 option.

One regular diner said online orders recently arrived at about one-third of the dine-in portion size and decided to stop ordering.
Korean fried chicken was reportedly served much later than other dishes on a repeat visit, with no waiting-time update in another complaint.
A customer reported that VAT was charged separately without clear menu disclosure and that a Melona item cost AED 14 instead of AED 13.
Parking was described as extremely difficult to find, while another diner used public parking behind the restaurant and walked five minutes.
One returning customer felt the meat quality had declined and said the kimchi used regular cabbage rather than traditional Chinese cabbage.
These are customer-reported mentions, not a current price list. Prices may have changed.

The Bottom Line
Mukbang Shows is a Korean BBQ and seafood restaurant in Port Saeed built around table grilling and all-you-can-eat set menus. Diners mention fresh samgyupsal, seafood, refillable side dishes, and beef bulgogi; the Seol Mukbang set was praised for its ribeye and wagyu. It is a sociable choice for friends, families, birthdays, and anniversaries rather than a quick, quiet meal.
The atmosphere comes across as cheerful, clean, and family-friendly. Children were welcomed, Korean costume photos add a fun extra, and one birthday guest received a song and treats. Staff are often described as warm and attentive, though a few reviews report forgotten items, slow follow-up, or delayed Korean fried chicken.
Prices vary by set. One diner reported an AED 89 deal with seven meat choices, while another paid AED 189 per person for Seol Mukbang and said children aged 4–12 paid half. Ask about the current inclusions and spice level—tteokbokki and fried chicken were milder or sweeter than expected for one guest.
Also clarify VAT before paying, and allow time for parking; public spaces behind the restaurant may require a five-minute walk. Delivery portions have also drawn a recent complaint.
