  3. Dish of the day Net +1
“The food was delicious, from the dish of the day to the creative fusion dishes on the menu, there was something for everyone's taste buds.”
  4. Fish tacos Net +1
“The fish tacos were great and the revisited margarita was amazing 🤍”
  5. Fruit platter Net +1
“The food was a major disappointment, the chicken had a smell, and it was in general very underwhelming- the only item we enjoyed was the fruit platter.”
  6. Greek salad Net +1
“We ordered the tuna sandwich, which was good, and the Greek salad was delicious.”
  7. Grilled octopus Net +1
“The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly charred, the sushi rolls were clean and precise, and the Wagyu beef sandos were rich and unforgettable.”
  8. Lamb chops Net +1
“The highlights were definitely the lamb chops, which were cooked very well and full of flavor, and the sea bass ceviche, which was fresh, balanced, and one of the strongest dishes we tried.”
  9. Mushroom salad Net +1
“Every dish on the menu is crafted with the finest ingredients, but for me, the highlight is always the mushroom salad, my absolute favorite salad in the world! I could truly eat it every day, it’s that good.”
  10. Octopus Net +1
“I have never eaten such good octopus. Soft, tasty, top quality.”
  11. Salmon tataki with sudachi Net +1
“If you’re a fan of raw dishes, I definitely recommend the salmon tataki with sudachi super fresh and full of flavor.”

  14. Signature sashimi dish Net +1
“Food was mediocre and not at all what was expected with the hype around Nobu - we had one signature sashimi dish that was tasty, but the other sushi rolls, dashi fries were non-descript and similar to what you’d find in a chain sushi restaurant like Yo Sushi - so for the price it was definitely not the value we expected.”

The Bottom Line

Nobu By The Beach combines a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant with a pool-and-beach day venue on Palm Jumeirah, beside Atlantis The Royal. You can book a pool day or cabana, settle in for a DJ-backed afternoon, or come for dinner and order sushi, ceviche, cocktails and sharing dishes. The sea and hotel setting are the main draw, while the atmosphere feels more relaxed and casual than a traditional Nobu dining room.

Food is notably mixed. Specific standouts include salmon tataki with sudachi, sea bass ceviche, lamb chops, octopus and the mushroom salad; Wagyu beef sandos and truffle burger sliders also have loyal fans. Vegetarian diners report enough choice.

That said, other guests found rolls, dashi fries, chicken and seabass ordinary or poorly executed, so the premium pricing will not feel equally convincing to everyone. Service can be excellent and personal, but several visits had slow or inattentive staff, including delayed dishes and a 15-minute wait for a dessert order. The pool may be crowded, sunbeds close together and music loud.

Reserve early, verify package inclusions, and ask for shade or indoor seating in strong daytime heat. Reservations may also provide free valet at the hotel entrance.
