However, I do have a couple of important points to mention, particularly concerning accessibility and pricing: There is a noticeable step difference in height when moving from the main dining hall area to the hand-wash area. This rise is quite significant and poses a risk of someone tripping, striking their foot, or potentially falling. This is a serious safety hazard and makes the establishment not friendly for differently-abled guests or anyone with mobility issues. I strongly recommend that the management addresses this immediately by installing a ramp or clearly marking/reducing the step I was pleased to see that, unlike some other restaurants, Panoor has separate hand-wash and toilet facilities for ladies and gents, which is a welcome feature. The Mackerel Curry cost 14 Dirham (AED 14). While the quality and freshness were excellent, this price felt exorbitant because I know the same dish is typically available for a lower price of around 6 or 7 Dirham at other local restaurants.”

We informed the server, who took the dish back to be recooked; however, even after the second attempt, the fish remained inedible. When I spoke with the manager at the cash counter, he inspected the dish and acknowledged that the fish was indeed hard. Despite the fact that we could not eat the food, he still charged me half the price for the curry 26 AED . I paid the bill only because I was with a guest and did not want to engage in an argument in front of them, but I find it unacceptable to be charged for food that was not fit for consumption.”
