Tips for a Better Visit
Confirm haircut. Bring reference pictures and spell out details such as tail length or eye trimming before grooming starts.
Check nails. Inspect every nail, including the inner fifth nail, before leaving after a grooming appointment.
Ask for updates. For hospitalisation, ask whether daily progress updates and home-care guidance will be provided.
Plan parking. Allow extra time to find parking, as one customer specifically flagged it as a concern.
Check pickup. If someone else is collecting your pet, confirm passport and pickup arrangements in advance.

The Bottom Line
Pet Planet Veterinary Clinic is a combined vet and grooming clinic in Jumeirah Village Circle, with reviews covering routine care, surgery, emergencies and grooming. Customers have used it for cat spaying, teeth scaling, full grooming, fracture checks and hospitalisation. The clinic also has on-site ultrasound, which one reviewer said made a cat’s hepatic-issue diagnosis quicker and more accurate.
The strongest pattern is attentive communication. Reviews describe clear explanations of dental options and surgery aftercare, rapid action in emergencies involving chocolate poisoning and a swallowed foreign object, and daily updates while a sick cat was hospitalised. Grooming feedback is mostly positive too: customers mention careful handling, reference-picture-based haircuts, neat Shitzu trims and pets returning clean, relaxed and happy.
A pick-and-drop option was also described as stress-free and reasonably priced. There are important caveats. One reviewer reported loud dryers and visible hair in the open clinic layout, while others described skin irritation, incorrect nail trimming and a small dog falling from a high cage at pickup.
Booking was called slow, and parking may take planning. After grooming, check the nails carefully and confirm collection arrangements if someone else is picking up your pet. One review reported 370 dirhams for blood tests and consultation, but this should not be treated as a current price list.
