Tips for a Better Visit
Ask first. Before approving a display replacement, ask whether the original display can be repaired; one customer said theirs was fixed instead.
Confirm parts. For screen work, ask which parts will be used and whether they are original, as one iPhone repair review specifically mentions original parts.
Check timing. If you have a broken display, ask about same-day completion; one customer reported getting the phone back within the same day.
Compare phones. When buying a handset, ask for the features to be explained against your daily needs; a reviewer valued the guidance and lack of pressure.

The Bottom Line
Playgame Mobiles is a convenient phone shop inside Shaklan Supermarket in Discovery Gardens. You can buy handsets such as the iPhone 16 or iPhone 17 Pro Max, pick up mobile accessories, or bring in a phone for repair. The clearest strength in the reviews is display work: customers describe an iPhone screen replacement using original parts, a same-day broken-display repair, and one original display being fixed in about 20 minutes rather than replaced.
The buying experience also gets specific praise. Reviews describe fair or reasonable phone pricing, clear explanations of features, and staff who helped customers choose a handset for everyday needs without pressure. Accessories are repeatedly mentioned as available and good quality, although the reviews do not give a detailed brand or stock list.
There is one important caution. A July 2025 reviewer said a repaired screen cracked within a few days and reported rude, threatening behaviour when raising the issue. That account conflicts with the many positive repair reports, so it is worth confirming the part type, repair terms and what happens if a problem returns before paying.
The shop’s position inside Shaklan Supermarket is useful context, but the reviews do not provide parking or peak-time information.
