Food 2

  1. Croissant avocado Net −1
“This is a food safety hazard and extremely unhygienic! As I opened the box to the croissant avocado, within two seconds I saw a bug in it!!! A literal small live bug walking around. I took a photo of it as it was crawling out of the box. I sent it to Deliveroo to be like I need compensation I cannot eat it as a bug was in my food and they said that they can’t compensate me, and that they’re sorry that I’m unhappy with my order. I’m not unhappy with my order because It didn’t taste good I’m unhappy because there is an actual animal in!!! This is a safety hazard and it’s unhygienic. This is not acceptable. The fact they will not compensate me on something that had a big in. This is crazy unacceptable. I will avoid anyone from ordering from this place.”
  2. Mince pie latte Net −1
“I tried their Festive Season speciality “Mince Pie latte” but it feels like a drop of mince meat in your coffee cup ☹️ I’m not a big fan of it.”

The Bottom Line

Pret a Manger in Dubai Internet City works well for a quick breakfast, lunch or coffee break. You can pick up fresh sandwiches, wraps, salads, pastries and hot drinks, then eat in a spacious café with indoor or outdoor seating. Several reviews mention a calm, comfortable atmosphere, while the terrace has greenery and umbrellas.

Sandwiches are the strongest recurring food theme. The chicken wrap, tuna sandwich and mature cheddar cheese sandwich all receive specific praise, and one customer says staff prepared a sandwich fresh when none was left on the shelf. Coffee and pastries are also dependable choices; cappuccino, organic coffee and vegan pastries are mentioned positively.

Staff have helped customers navigate vegan options and customise beverages. There are a few practical cautions. One reviewer found the food expensive compared with the UK, quoting AED 36 for a baguette, while another reported AED 25 for a medium coffee.

Service is usually described as fast and friendly, but separate reviews mention long waits, including a delivery cancellation after 30 minutes. A delivery food-safety complaint and a duplicate card charge were also reported, so check orders and payment records carefully.
