    Only neutral feedback

“the egg lazeez is 3.5 of 5”
  49. Omelet rice Net 0

    Only neutral feedback

“Checked out Raju Omlet after hearing all the hype, and finally gave their Omelet Rice a try. The taste brought back some nostalgia — just like the rice you'd get back home in India, which I appreciated. The location is convenient, and the space has a fun, Bollywood-inspired vibe with colorful desi art. Service was fine — nothing exceptional, but got the job done. For the buzz it gets, I was expecting a bit more in terms of flavor and overall experience. Honestly, the only thing that really matched the hype was the price. Still, if you're craving some Indian-style comfort food in a casual setting, it's worth checking out at least once. Not bad, just not mind-blowing. Hope they level up a bit — the concept has potential!”

Food 3

  1. Gravy omlette Net −1

The Bottom Line

Raju Omlet is an egg-focused Indian street-food restaurant in Al Quoz, with freshly prepared dishes and tea served throughout the day. The menu gives egg lovers plenty to explore: Eggs Kejriwal, akuri, Mexican omelette, paneer bhurji and egg paratha all receive specific praise. Chai is another strong reason to stop, especially the elaichi karak and cutting chai.

The setting is part of the appeal. Reviews describe Bombay nostalgia, Bollywood-inspired artwork, vintage objects and an egg-themed interior, with enough space for some larger groups. It works for breakfast, a casual meal or a tea-time snack, and one group of eight had no trouble finding a table or parking.

Another reviewer, however, found parking tricky, so conditions may vary. Service is less consistent than the food. Some guests report quick, friendly attention, but others waited 20 minutes or more for food, takeaway or tea.

The room can also be loud, particularly at busy times. Portion sizes and prices divide opinion, while the Al Quoz branch has drawn complaints about worn furniture and cleanliness. Book ahead for busy breakfast periods, allow time for fresh cooking, and check the timing if you specifically want masala pav.
