Our goal is to create an app that will facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals who are deaf. For instance, if there is a deaf patient whose translator is currently unavailable. When the patient uses sign language, the camera records the movement and translates it into English when the doctor opens the app and starts speaking while the 2D image is translating in sign language.
