Quinoa biryani was fantastic ( especially coconut raita) and I really liked Acai bowl because it did not have lots of added sugar and loads of unnecessary toppings. Nice view for restaurant, friendly staff and place is super clean.”

  11. Snickers Net +1

  12. Special five course meal Net +1
“We (my newly vegan daughter and I) came for a Christmas meal. We got the special five course meal for the day, so can’t comment on the everyday menu. The cafe itself is clean and well designed. The location was easy enough to find and get parking for (I think there is parking for customers but we didn’t know that). The food was good and the service very friendly and helpful. Deepak did most of the serving but everyone was clearly interested in what they were doing and willing to answer questions.”

Drinks 4

  1. 'Abc' juice Net −1

Tips for a Better Visit

Showing 2 of 6
1

Confirm Venue. Check the current entrance and branding before travelling: reviews say the cafe operates inside Govindas rather than as a separate Soul Sante shop.

2

Allow Time. Avoid a tight schedule, especially for breakfast; one review reports a 40-minute food wait even though the cafe was not busy.

Common Concerns

Showing 2 of 5

Shared Venue

Several reviews say Soul Sante shares space with Govindas, which can feel misleading if you arrive expecting a distinct European-style cafe.

Inconsistent Timing

Food and drinks were sometimes slow: one reviewer waited 40 minutes for food, while another received breakfast items over 10 minutes apart.

The Bottom Line

Soul Sante Cafe is a vegan and gluten-free cafe in Al Barsha South, aimed at diners who want lighter plant-based food without giving up desserts or breakfast treats. Reviews repeatedly mention the eggless omelette, sweet potato protein pancakes, avocado toast and gnocchi with pesto. It also handles more specialised orders, including a sugar-free carrot cake for a 73rd birthday and custom meal plans delivered daily.

The food can be genuinely memorable: quinoa risotto, quinoa biryani with coconut raita, vegan doughnuts and gluten-free, dairy-free desserts all received strong praise. Yoga classes and a calm setting add to the wellness-oriented appeal, and one breakfast review reports free parking. The cafe has also been described as quiet and slightly removed from busier areas.

There are important caveats. Multiple reviews say Soul Sante shares its premises and menu with Govindas, so the current setup may not match the standalone cafe shown in older photos. Service and food timing have varied, with reports of long waits, cold dishes and a mushy pancake.

Portions may feel modest for the price, and one diner found the indoor incense overwhelming. Confirm the venue, ingredients and what is included with your order before setting out.
