The Bottom Line

SpiceKlub is a pure-vegetarian modern Indian restaurant in Al Mankhool, aimed at diners who want familiar flavours presented in less familiar ways. The menu leans into playful fusion and molecular-gastronomy techniques rather than straightforward curry-house cooking. Pav bhaji fondue, pani puri served with test tubes, and creatively plated chaats are among the dishes visitors mention most often.

The experience is strongest when you embrace the presentation. Reviews describe liquid nitrogen, smoke effects and interactive plating, with desserts such as Flower Pot, bubbling kulfi and smoked mango ice cream providing a theatrical finish. The colourful interiors, music and seating work well for family dinners, birthdays and meals with friends, and staff are often praised for explaining dishes and accommodating preferences.

Vegan options and customisations have also become more flexible according to one recent review. There are trade-offs. Several diners found the pricing high for the portion sizes, while others considered the quantities generous.

Tables can sit close together and the room may echo, and some visits reported slow service or dishes that missed expectations. Ask about spice levels and vegan substitutions, and consider reserving ahead. Parking is available around the restaurant, including RTA parking outside according to one visitor.
