  1. Sushi Net +6
“The sushi was not only beautifully prepared but also really delicious—the flavors were clean, balanced, and satisfying in every bite.”
  2. 1St anniversary box Net +1
“I opted for the ‘1st anniversary Box’ (16 pcs): 4 each of crispy crab-salmon, chicken cutlet fusion rolls salmon teriyaki and shrimp tempur. A fun mix of textures and flavors that didn’t disappoint”
  3. Beef garlic butter rice Net +1
“The beef garlic butter rice was fragrant and well-seasoned without being too heavy.”
  4. Bright shrimp tempura roll Net +1
“I opted for their ‘Limited Time Offer Box 16 pieces’- 4 Pcs salmon teriyaki roll, 4 pcs bright shrimp tempura roll, 4 pcs crazy crispy crab salmon roll, 4 pcs chicken cutlets fusion roll. And, my sister opted for their ‘Limited Time Offer Box 12 pieces’- 4 Pcs crazy crispy crab salmon roll, 4 pcs bright shrimp tempura roll, 4 pcs chicken cutlets fusion roll. The sushi was absolutely delicious with each bite and the flavours were flavouringggg 🤤, loved how fresh these were and the presentation of each roll was delightful. I enjoyed mine with a dip of soy sauce and ofcourse wasabi 👌🏻. The only drawback was that we wished there was more rice used to wrap the sushi as some of it kept falling apart when we tried to pick it up and we wished the size of the shrimps were a bit bigger because we could barely taste it. Apart from these, the fusion of flavours was pretty decent and I would recommend it.”
  5. Gyudon beef bowl Net +1
“The gyudon beef bowl had tender beef with a nice balance of sweet and savory flavor.”

  8. Sushi platter Net +1
“I ordered their sushi platter and poke bowl. The sushi was good but too saucy for my liking. The fish was fresh and all the rolls had a lot of fish but also too much sauce. Good value for money.”

Food 11

  1. Bento Net −1
“I ordered two bento portions for lunch through Karim and also 16 pieces of sushi, the sushi arrived normal but the bento was sent a spoiled product. Not tasty and smelly food that spoiled all the products. I contacted Karim and they returned 10 drh, this is a real mockery when I paid 121 drh. Attached the photo to see how quality of food. About smells and tasty I can’t take photo to post here”
  2. Bibimbap Net −1
“Very disappointed with our order 1/10. We had the bibimbap, dumplings, and chicken siomai, but all items arrived cold, which already affected the overall experience. The beef portion in the bibimbap was extremely small—about 1 spoonful only—which was not worth the price. As for the dumplings and chicken siomai, they were also disappointing as they barely had any chicken filling and lacked flavor. Overall, the food quality and value did not meet expectations.”
  3. Chicken noodles Net −1
“The chicken noodles were also very dry.”

  5. Dynamite shrimp Net −1
“worst sushi on planet earth, not fresh at all, dynamite shrimp is just soggy bread.literally no dynamite sauce on them.”
  6. Philadelphia roll Net −1
“The food quality is also nice, but something to improve is the Philadelphia roll, I just feel that something is not right with the flavor.”
  7. Ramen Net −1
“We got a ramen that was ice cold. The Yakisobha was disgusting, clearly been reheated in the microwave, was probably days old. Both dishes paid for chicken mince and they sent chicken chunks. Had a rotten egg with the ramen as well, again clearly days old.”
  8. Sashimi Net −1
“Food was warm and the sashimi came super warm with no soya or wasabi. Shame”
  9. Sushi box Net −1
“I ordered sushi box via Noon. And from the photo of what I ordered, it looks fine and okay. But when I received my sushi only cucumbers were inside and an imitation crab. Horrible experience. And there’s no variety to what I have ordered. Everything is the same at least 80% of the filling is only cucumber without any other ingredients.”
  10. Yakisoba Net −1
“We ordered online last night of 1 set of sushi and 1 yakisoba. The yakisoba seems very old and dry. I think they didn't serve freshly cooked yakisoba. When we received the order we have re-heat again the yakisoba noodles. The noodles is very hard. But the sushi is very nice. 👌 Thanks”
  11. Yakisobha Net −1

The Bottom Line

Sushi ZEN is a delivery-focused Japanese restaurant in Business Bay where you can order sushi boxes, poke, ramen and cooked dishes. The most encouraging reviews mention the gyudon beef bowl, beef garlic butter rice and gyoza, while the sushi menu includes colourful fusion boxes such as the 16-piece 1st anniversary Box. Packaging is a genuine highlight: customers describe gradient-toned boxes, tiny soy sauce bottles and small saucers for dipping.

There is a worthwhile value angle when app promotions appear. One Noon customer said a 50% discount made an otherwise ordinary sushi order more appealing, and other reviewers found portions satisfying and the presentation neat. Positive delivery reports mention food arriving on time, warm and well packed.

The caution is consistency. Several customers reported cold ramen, gyoza or dumplings, warm sashimi, dry noodles and rolls with unpleasant smells. Sushi size, fish quantity and fillings also vary: some orders were praised as fresh and flavourful, while others were described as tiny, cucumber-heavy or made with imitation crab and canned tuna.

Check the box promptly on arrival, especially when ordering through Noon or another delivery app, and confirm that the fillings and condiments match what you selected.
