Food 1

  1. Chicken fried rice Net −1
“Yesterday I visited your restaurant at 5pm and placed order for chicken fried rice and egg friend rice. And one Nepali staff suggested 2 dishes, Fried rice with black truffle sauce and shredded chicken and Thai pineapple seafood fried rice. You charged me Aed96 for these dishes. It was so so disappointing to see the chicken fried rice street I came home. There was no chicken. All I could see is carrots and spring onion. No trace of chicken. And you name your dish with such a fancy name saying shredded chicken. I have posted picture is the dish and you tell me where there is chicken? Mind your words when you name the dish. Shredded chicken and mince chicken is different. So so disappointed!! The dish was not even worth aed10”

Tips for a Better Visit

1

Share dishes. Come with a group or plan for leftovers: a reviewer said one soup could feed 4–6 people.

2

Choose wisely. For stronger flavours, order from the regular menu rather than the simpler rice plates, though the regular dishes cost more.

The Bottom Line

Tree View is a Chinese restaurant in Dubai Investment Park where the food is generally ordered for sharing rather than one small plate per person. Reviewers mention mapo tofu, Peking duck, hot and sour soup and an extensive hotpot selection. The mapo tofu stands out for its spicy, numbing Sichuan-pepper flavour, while the Peking duck was described as crisp outside, tender inside and served with pancakes, scallions and hoisin sauce.

Portions are a major part of the appeal. One reviewer said dishes could feed around three to four people, while another said a single soup could serve four to six. That makes the restaurant a natural fit for family meals and groups, though expect leftovers if only two people are dining.

The spacious traditional Chinese-style interior, the tree in the middle and occasional karaoke or live music add more atmosphere than a standard casual meal. Prices are viewed as reasonable overall, and lunch rice plates were called good value, but one reviewer found them simple and said the regular menu costs much more. Service is usually described as friendly and quick, although it can slow when busy.

Parking is repeatedly reported as easy or free. Dim-sum wrappers may feel heavy, so sharing a few regular dishes is the safer first order.
