The Good Stuff
Stylish designs
Customers mention elegant coffee tables, a modern TV unit, velvet seating and decor with a rustic-meets-modern look.
Useful showroom
The clean, organised showroom makes it easier to compare modern and classic styles and inspect materials before buying.
Smooth assembly
Some customers said delivery teams handled setup carefully, including professional dining-table installation.
Fast delivery
A few orders arrived earlier than promised, including an online order placed shortly before Eid and a same-day delivery.
Tips for a Better Visit
Confirm materials. For customised wooden furniture, get the exact material for every part in writing; one buyer received plywood where solid wood was expected.
Check measurements. Confirm dimensions and weight before ordering, especially if you need to move the item; one piece arrived at 52 cm instead of 45.
Get timelines. Ask for a firm delivery date and an update process, since one delayed order was not communicated to the customer.
Inspect assembly. Check chairs and tables during installation; an assembly team had to return after discovering missing parts.
Test umbrellas. For outdoor umbrellas, examine base stability and warranty coverage carefully; one base broke after the umbrella tipped over.
Clarify refunds. Before paying, confirm whether returns go back to your payment method or become store credit, and ask about deductions.

The Bottom Line
Wooden Twist is a furniture store in Al Quoz with a showroom spanning modern and classic styles. You can compare sofas, dining tables and chairs, solid-wood pieces, coffee tables, partitions, outdoor furniture and decor. The appeal is easy to understand: reviewers describe a sturdy rocking chair, an elegant teak sofa set, a stylish marble-top nesting coffee table and decor that looked like the online photos.
The stronger experiences include careful dining-table setup, comfortable outdoor sofa cushions, fast delivery on some orders and helpful material guidance in the showroom. A few customers also received items earlier than promised, including an online order placed shortly before Eid. Prices are described as higher for some pieces, with mid-range options also available.
The main caution is inconsistency. Other reviews report wobbly or stained dining chairs, crooked stitching, bent partitions, weak umbrella bases and a teak table delivered with a plywood top despite expectations of solid wood. Delivery has ranged from same-day to weeks late, and after-sales replies can take days or longer.
Before ordering, confirm dimensions, weight, fabric, construction and delivery timing in writing. Also check the return route and fees: reviews mention store-credit refunds and deductions for return shipping.
