Tips for a Better Visit
Confirm pricing. Get the per-piece rate, discounts, VAT and delivery fee in writing before handing over a large order.
Inspect first. Check every item at collection, especially for stains, tears and colour changes before accepting the order.
Set a deadline. Agree a specific delivery time and confirm it shortly beforehand; several customers reported missed or delayed drop-offs.
Track valuables. Photograph and list valuable items such as carpets, designer pieces or bedding before sending them.
Check smell. Open the order promptly and check for unwanted odours, as customers reported cigarette and unwashed smells.

The Bottom Line
AlWan Alrabee Laundry is a dry-cleaning and laundry shop in Jumeirah Village Circle. Customers have used it for everyday clothes as well as shoe cleaning, carpets, sofas, curtains and designer bags. The strongest individual reports are specific: a tea-spotted jean was cleaned successfully, one carpet-and-sofa job reportedly came back looking like new, and a designer bag was returned clean.
The picture is uneven, especially in more recent reviews. Customers describe stains remaining on T-shirts, children’s laundry, duvets, curtains and dresses; one large 95-piece order was reportedly charged at 5dhs per piece after a 4dhs quote. Delivery is another weak point, with complaints about missed appointments, absent drivers and long waits even for small orders.
There are also serious handling concerns. Reviews mention lost T-shirts, clothes, a carpet and a bedsheet, alongside burnt trousers, a cut sleeve, holes and discolouration. Follow-up and compensation were often described as slow or absent.
A few customers do report fast service, friendly staff and reasonable results, but the volume of complaints about reliability means you should confirm pricing and timing in writing, photograph valuable items, and inspect everything before accepting it.
